With the holiday season fast approaching many are preparing for the popular tradition of sitting down to watch holiday movies on a chilly evening. And with it being altered due to COVID-19, there is no better time to binge some festive movies. Whether you prefer to watch the latest and greatest or revisit old classics there are always a wide variety to choose from.

Ranging from cheesy romance to festive family stories, Netflix has already released several movies to satisfy the holiday spirit including: Holidate, Operation Christmas Drop and Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. Throughout the rest of November, Netflix will continue to release titles such as Just Another Christmas, Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker and The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two.

If you don’t have Netflix there is no need to worry as several other streaming services are releasing holiday movies this year. Hallmark is releasing The Christmas House on Nov. 22nd and Heart of the Holidays on Nov. 23rd. Lifetime is releasing The Christmas Setup on Dec. 12th and A Taste of Christmas on Nov. 20.

If the newest holiday movies aren’t your style, now is also the perfect time to revisit old classics or watch them for the first time. Movies such as Home Alone, Elf, Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas and The Grinch.

There is an endless amount of Holiday movies to enjoy throughout the season so grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and get ready for some holiday cheer.
