Senior Athlete Spotlight: Caleb Durr

Q: What’s your name? 

A: Caleb Durr


Q: What sports did you play at LSE?

A: “I’m involved in wrestling and football.”

 

Q: How do you think high school sports have changed you as an athlete/person? 

A:  “ I’d say I’ve become more disciplined, especially with my time management. Other things I think sports helped me with was character obviously, building, building grit and really like focus. ” 

 

Q: What coaches have made an impact during your high school sports career? 

A: “ I think the number one coach is Ryan Bower. He’s at Kearney now but he was my wrestling coach since freshman year, all the way up until sophomore year.” 

 

Q: What was your favorite memory during high school sports? 

A: “Definitely the bus rides that we have at wrestling. We play Mafia on the bus ride home and it’s just everyone coming together and it’s pretty fun.”

 

Q:When did you start playing varsity for your sport?

A: “I started playing varsity as a freshman for wrestling and junior year for football.”

 

Q: What are your plans for after high school?  

A: “I obviously want to go to college. I want to wrestle but I have no idea where I want to go yet.”
