The varsity football season continued on Sept. 2 with a game against Papillion La-Vista South. It was a long one, two days worth to be exact. A rain delay had the game start Friday night and end Saturday afternoon. The Knights had a difficult time scoring throughout the game but junior running back (5) Devin Washington broke loose for a 54-yard run for the Knights’ only touchdown during the second quarter. Senior kicker (22) Colin Clare booted a field goal for Southeasts’ last points of the game in the third quarter. The game then got rained out so they had to continue on Saturday. Everything went downhill from there and Southeast lost 17-9 to Papillion La-Vista South.
