The Knights faced a tough task on Friday, they faced a undefeated Grand Island team. The Islanders started out fast by scoring three touchdowns in the first 15 minutes of the game. But before half the Knight’s defense buckled down and had a goal line stance against the Islanders to keep them from going up 28-0 at half. The Knights were fired up at halftime. Desmond Robinson (11) kept their first scoring drive alive by running for a 18-yard gain on a reverse on fourth down, a few plays later Najee Jackson (11) found Sam Cotton (12) for a six yard touchdown pass. The Knights would go on to win 28-27, in one of the greatest comebacks in Southeast football history.
