The Knights football team started slow in Friday’s contest versus Millard South. The Patriots scored the first points of the game on a 18 yard touchdown run. The Knights came out fired up in the 2nd half, they scored on their first drive on a 6 yard run from Devin Washington(11), on the next possession the Knights used some trickery. They faked a handoff to fullback Levi Gilbert(12) then pitched to Desmond Robinson(11) who optioned it to Devin Washington(11) for a 73 yard run. The Knights would go on to score two more touchdowns, the final score was 28-7. The Knights now face the Papillion Monarchs in the state semi-finals, the game is scheduled for Friday at Seacrest at 7 p.m.
