Sophomore Jasmyn Nash has been playing sports ever since she was 5-years-old. But she hasn’t always loved it.
“Just give it one more year,” said Nash’s mother when she first started playing tee-ball years ago. “You’ll learn to like it. Come on, just one more year.”
And Nash did give it one more year. In fact, she gave it 10 more years.
Now, Nash is playing her 2nd year of softball for Southeast and she’s very excited to be back on the team.
Along with Nash, Freshman Tegin Dubbs, has also been playing for 10 years. Dubbs’ plays second base and enjoys being around her teammates and the people that support her. After she graduates, she wants to go to college and play for UNL.
“I’m looking forward to this season,” she said confidently.
The LSE softball team has a home tournament, this Saturday – the 13th.
