At 5 foot 10 inches – sophomore Kallista Tran is the ideal model height. But  modeling wasn’t always on her mind. Her mother had always pushed the idea and encouraged her to get into modeling.  She kept telling herself that she was too busy with school.  She also wasn’t big on the idea of modeling in the first place. Once she finally let her mom talk to an agent ,she realized how fun the photoshoots and runway shows of modeling can be.

Tran walked in Omaha Fashion Week (OFW) in August and is excited to bring the new styles to homecoming this year.

LSE Homecoming comes after New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. These events provide a lot of inspiration for dresses.

“I think you’ll see a lot of fall colors – like black, golds, maroons, and darker colors,” said Tran, who has already bought her dress “Buying a dress early is a good idea because last years styles are on sale and you have first choice.”

LSE Homecoming is October 17th and is coming up fast so get your dress and your hair done high for this night in New York.
