Annabelle – the demented doll from “The Conjuring” is back and ready to scare you senseless. Again.
The new move – “Annabelle” – focuses on the backstory of the doll owned by paranormal researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren.
This is more than just a scary horror flick. “Annabelle” was based on true events that happened in the 70s’. It’s not as dramatic as it is in the movies, but the Warren’s have claimed that creepy things have happened when being around this doll.
In the movie, the Annabelle doll is porcelain, but the real one is an old 1970s’ Raggedy Ann Doll.
Donna, the former owner of the doll got it as a birthday present from her mother when she was a child. She contacted the Warrens and gave it to them after strange things were happening in her apartment that she recently moved into.
The owner claimed that the doll would be in different positions every night when she got off of work. Sometimes the doll would be on her bed, in the corner of her bedroom, and other times Annabelle would be sitting on the couch.
She didn’t think much of it until things started to become more serious.
Not long after all the movements of the doll started happening, there would be strange messages on paper in a childlike handwriting.
One message read: “Help us”.
Once all of this had happened, it was best to put this situation in the hands of professional paranormal researchers.
In present day, the real doll is locked away in a glass case in the Warren Occult Museum in a town called Monroe, Connecticut.
Whether this is real or not, you can visit the museum and see the doll for yourself.
