On April 25, 2016 Lincoln Southeast held it’s final pep rally of the year, the Spring Finale Rally. As this semester starts coming to a close, a lot of ‘lasts’ are in order for most seniors; the last time they’ll take a high school final, the last time they’ll perform on a high school team, the last time they’ll eat a high school lunch, for some, it’s the last time they’ll sit in the bleachers of a high school event.
At the pep rally, the Shirettes introduced the new 2017-2018 team and said farewell to the seniors, a tradition they’ve carried for years. The Step Chain team, with only two seniors, Pam Laam and Maya Buss, finished strong with their teammates.
Along with the Step Chain and the Senior Shirettes, Varsity cheer performed their last routine and group huddle with much gratitude.
As the year comes to an end, all students face finals, lots of studying, stress, and to top it off, difficult good-byes. As a special edition for The Clarion, look for our next may issue on ‘What I Wish I Knew’ from seniors throughout the LSE.
