On any morning at LSE, junior Jack Grantski can be found driving in his new truck, listening to his favorite song of the day. With a passionate goal to be himself and have a place to live, Jack Grantski is a unique Junior here at Southeast. His goals after high school are simple, to be successful. “[My definition of success is to] have a place to sleep,” said Grantski.
Grantski is currently most passionate about music. “[My favorite is] any type, except country,” he said. “It really just depends on my mood.”
Despite his love for music, his pride lays elsewhere. “[I’m most proud of] my truck,” said Grantski. “It’s a Mazda. [I got it] two months ago.”
Looking back at his time in high school so far he’s thankful for the opportunities he has gotten, Grantski said, “It’s an opportunity to learn. There’s some cool stuff to learn, [like] business, music, and wood shop.”
He has also gained some important role models here at Southeast. “I like the teachers [here],” said Grantski. “[My favorite is] Mr. Bowens, he teaches a lot of different things.”
He wants to be known for his personality and that he’s someone who tries to say true to himself. “I’m funny,” said Grantski. “[I want to] be myself.”
