Madeleine Melang-Thoren is a freshman here at LSE, and this is her first semester on The Clarion staff. Aside from writing articles, she also enjoys playing trumpet and piano, singing, and participating in every music group possible at her church! She also takes pleasure in knitting, taking care of her plants, playing with her dogs, cooking/baking, and doodling. She aspires to be a professional musician in the future.
